At Front Porch, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Carlsbad By The Sea, a continuing care resort-style retirement community.

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supervision to our residents, working closely with our Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform patient assessments and plan of care evaluations to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Review referrals and admissions, and assist with duties as needed to support our care team.
  • Coordinate and perform necessary treatments, medications, and nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or ordered by the physician.
  • Ensure all emergency measures are followed per Care Center and company policy, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care and treatment, in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
  • Experience in long-term care community health, geriatric, and/or rehabilitative nursing is desirable.
  • Knowledge of current State and Federal regulations is essential.
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Ability to understand, follow, support, and initiate policies and procedures of the facility.
  • Ability to recognize emergency situations and respond appropriately.
