Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Evaluate patient conditions during the recovery phase, promptly identifying and reporting any changes.
- Execute procedures as directed by the medical team.
- Document care provided in the patient medical record accurately and timely.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment pertinent to post-surgical care.
Qualifications Required
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Florida RN License or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Preferred advanced certifications (e.g., CEN, TNCC).
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent physical activity, including lifting patients and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- A minimum of one year of experience in acute care, specifically in PACU or ICU settings.
- Availability for on-call duties, with the requirement to reside within a reasonable distance from the facility.
