Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Blount Rural Health Center. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients with a friendly smile and attitude
  • Completing screening procedures, including general and oral health assessments
  • Working with dentists to develop treatment plans and perform oral prophylaxis and scaling/root planning
  • Providing community-based dental prevention programs and education
  • Screening patients for oral health issues and teaching proper brushing and flossing techniques
  • Documenting patient conditions and administering local anesthetic agents
  • Participating in meetings and continuing education activities

Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently throughout the day. May be required to lift up to 40 pounds, as needed.
