We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a highly experienced team of cardiologists and electrophysiologists.

Job Summary

The Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and providing patient care. They will also establish and maintain a sterile environment, serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in the orientation of new staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligible and/or current RCIS
  • Previous procedural area experience preferred
  • Certification as a Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training required during orientation prior to providing patient care
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
