The Facilities Housekeeping Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily management of the cleaning personnel. This position combines both on-site responsibilities and administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily cleaning operations, ensuring all safety and operational protocols are adhered to.
- Develop and implement work schedules and daily task assignments for the cleaning team.
- Address and resolve customer complaints regarding housekeeping services.
- Conduct inspections to evaluate staff performance and ensure compliance with cleaning standards.
- Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain budgetary controls and prepare reports on cleaning expenditures.
- Provide training and mentorship to both new and existing staff members.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs for cleaning equipment.
- Handle necessary administrative tasks and documentation.
- Stay informed about advancements in cleaning technologies and materials.
Applicants should possess the following:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven leadership capabilities and the ability to train staff effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow client specifications accurately.
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 25 pounds. Effective communication with team members and clients is essential. The work environment is moderately noisy, and occasional travel may be necessary.
