TIG Welding Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking proficient TIG Welders to contribute to our operations at Danville F.D.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform TIG welding on a variety of materials according to client specifications.
  • Conduct visual inspections of components and materials during the manufacturing process.
  • Interpret and analyze blueprints and customer requirements effectively.
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace, adhering to 6S principles.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of internal welding certifications across different materials and positions.
  • Previous experience in TIG welding is preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational capabilities.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and possess manual dexterity.
