About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for developing and improving processes in machine shop and assembly environments, troubleshooting production issues of mechanical and electrical nature.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive productivity improvements, automation implementation, and Lean initiatives
  • Develop and improve processes in machine shop and assembly environments
  • Troubleshoot production issues of mechanical and electrical nature
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive shop floor CI through lean-minded process/flow improvements and kaizen events
  • Develop requirements for tooling, fixturing, testing, and support equipment

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, with strong experience working on machining & assembly processes
  • Associates Degree or higher education in a technical science or engineering field
  • Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies or demonstrated experience with process improvement initiatives like 5S, Kaizen Events, Value Stream Mapping, Pareto Charts
  • Ability to write work instructions and create documentation for troubleshooting equipment/machinery
  • Experience communicating directly with outside vendors/processors
  • Background successfully leading capital expenditure projects from start to finish

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 depending on level of experience

The estimated salary for this role is $125,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
