About the Role:

Kuhnle Brothers Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician/Truck Mechanic to join their team at their Lakeville NY location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced mechanic to perform general and preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers, diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical issues, and troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and emissions issues.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general and preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers
- Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical issues such as brakes, suspension, air, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and resolve emissions issues
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues related to equipment systems

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or GED preferred or one year of experience in inspection, brake, and/or vehicle-mechanic work on commercial vehicles and tanker trailers
- Class A Commercial Drivers license
- New York State Inspection License (preferred)
- Strong ability to properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues related to equipment systems
