Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Bridge Engineer to join our team at LaBella Associates. As a key member of our bridge design team, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers with analysis, design, detailing, and inspection of local and state DOT projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior engineers with bridge design and analysis
  • Develop and implement design solutions for bridge projects
  • Conduct site inspections and gather data for design purposes
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in structural engineering from an ABET-accredited college
  • 0-5 years of experience in bridge design and analysis
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, SAP2000, Midas Civil, EnerCalc, and MathCAD
  • Experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission projects and their design software
  • Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT Certificate (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • PE License
