PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adheres to the assigned timetable Comprehends and executes routine verbal and written directives. Completes assigned tasks accurately, promptly, courteously, and efficiently. Implements safety protocols in all work areas. Submits routine oral and written reports as required. Participates in training sessions related to job responsibilities.
Maintains a positive image of the educational institution and district while interacting with staff, students, parents, and the community. Sweep, mop, wash, strip, wax, and vacuum floors in designated areas as necessary.
Dust and polish furniture and fixtures according to a daily schedule. Ensure waste receptacles are emptied and cleaned. Report incidents of vandalism to the principal and maintenance personnel. Assist in keeping the premises free of debris and litter. Maintain cleanliness and stock of restroom supplies. Clean windows as required. Maintain presentation boards (whiteboards). Order supplies as necessary. Adhere to local regulations and procedures for waste management and disposal. Assist in maintaining grounds as assigned. Exhibit regular and punctual attendance. Conduct duties in a manner that fosters positive public relations. Uphold confidentiality regarding any educational institution-related matters. Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues. Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor during the school day.EVALUATION:
Job performance for non-probationary staff will be assessed by the immediate supervisor in accordance with Board Policy. Probationary employees will undergo evaluations at least once a year. This job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
