Job Summary:

As a Dairy Merchandiser at Shamrock Foods Company, you will be responsible for replenishing merchandise displays in retail stores. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as you will work closely with department managers to resolve out-of-stock situations and incorporate new items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine merchandise displays to identify items in need of replenishment
  • Pull back-stock from storage areas to refill displays, rotating stock using the FIFO system
  • Work closely with department managers to explain and resolve out-of-stock situations and incorporate new items
  • Complete Equipment Move Order paperwork, load freezers onto trucks or trailers, and deliver them to designated customer locations
  • Stock storage areas and displays with new or transferred merchandise
  • Participate in store displays and resets
  • Set up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables
  • Travel between store locations in assigned territories or to other locations as requested
  • Attend and participate in routine or other meetings as required
  • Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Ability to understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules, and regulations associated with this position, which are written in English
  • Ability to respond appropriately to these and, where needed, provide reports, presentations, information, or communications in English
