Job Description

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Pharmacologist. You'll be responsible for designing, planning, and executing in vivo strategies for pre-clinical drug discovery and development projects, focusing on ADC Biology and Cancer Immunology. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the success of these projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement in vivo study plans, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient decision-making.
  • Serve as the in vivo pharmacology lead for multiple drug discovery projects, ensuring all critical in vivo data are available for stage-dependent decisions.
  • Design and conduct in vivo studies to evaluate efficacy, PK/PD relationships, combination strategies, biomarker identification, and analysis.
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of scientists, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  • Develop and characterize new in vivo mouse models, including cell-line derived xenografts, syngeneic tumors, and genetically engineered mouse (GEM) models, to study biologic mechanisms and support exploration of novel cancer immune therapeutics and targeted therapies.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Genetics, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, including technical and scientific expertise in drug discovery and preclinical development.
  • Experience in collaborative research in Oncology drug discovery programs, animal models of human cancers, in vivo and ex vivo skills, and supervising a small team of scientists.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills, proficiency in common office and scientific software.
