Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute is seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, working closely with radiologists, cardiologists, and surgeons to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform non-invasive vascular exams to assess for vascular disease or disorders
  • Compile information gathered on exams to provide preliminary impressions
  • Work independently to perform technical procedures, including duplex imaging and pulse volume recordings
  • Notify physicians of abnormal findings and prepare patients for examination
  • Maintain accurate testing documentation and complete financial documentation for billing
Requirements
  • Completion of an appropriate allied health program leading to a degree or certificate in non-invasive cardiovascular ultrasound techniques
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or other appropriate national registry
  • Advanced training in anatomy, physiology, biology, and physics
  • Demonstrated proficiency with non-invasive vascular laboratory equipment and procedures
