Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety meetings with staff to maintain and communicate HAZCOM standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including electrical and plumbing work, HVAC systems, appliances, and more.
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to maintenance assistants, ensuring timely completion of work orders.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with the property manager to schedule maintenance personnel and ensure 24/7 availability for emergency purposes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and expenditures.
  • Provide training and guidance to subordinate maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in awkward and confining positions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, and Fair Housing regulations.
Working Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires frequent travel to properties and occasional exposure to paint fumes, solvents, and adhesives. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
