Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Novant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and service.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist the provider to ensure quality and cost-effective service and care for patients within the cardiac patient population.
  • Lead the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care that promote optimal health or support peaceful death.
  • Utilize best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journeys.
  • Accept responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in appropriate state.
  • BSN degree; if license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, successful completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating the license.
  • Experience in telemetry, CCU, cardiac step-down unit, and physician practice environment.
  • Coumadin dosing experience.
