Position Overview:

We are seeking an Avionics Technician for a six-month contract with the potential for permanent placement. This role primarily involves weekend and first shift work.

Key Responsibilities:

The Avionics Technician will engage in a variety of hands-on technical activities related to the evaluation of sophisticated electronic assemblies tailored for aerospace and defense sectors. This position is integral to the testing, diagnosing, and fault detection of these assemblies through the execution of clearly defined developmental tests, system integration, and formal acceptance testing, which encompasses environmental assessments. A proactive approach, effective communication abilities, and a disciplined work ethic are crucial for success in this role.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficient in using General Purpose Test Equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, adhere to established procedures, and utilize computer skills alongside technical expertise to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Skilled in producing clear and concise technical documentation, including action registers, engineering orders, and data book entries.

Educational Requirements:

  • Associate's degree, technical diploma, or equivalent military training/experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to government regulations.
