Piedmont Triad Regional Council is a leading organization dedicated to implementing creative regional solutions to improve the lives of our community. As a Grant Funding Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring special programs and resource needs are met by researching and obtaining grant funding from federal, state, and local agencies or non-profit organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree related to political science, planning, finance, accounting, or a related field with some experience in publicly-funded projects, overall project management, or a related field. A strong analytical and critical thinking skillset, combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is necessary to interact with a variety of individuals including co-workers, local government staff, granting agencies, the general public, and elected officials.

Key responsibilities include maintaining all financial records for federal, state, and local auditing purposes, initiating, coordinating, and processing all supporting agreements, schedules, and documentation, and performing various technical writing tasks. Additionally, knowledge of grants management from application processes to closeout, purchasing/requisition procedures, bidding requirements, and the NC Local Government Fiscal Control Act is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $56,201.60 DOQ, excellent benefits including NC Local Governmental Employees Retirement System (NCLGERS), and participates in PSLFP.
