Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail environment. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Manage the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications, maintaining accurate records and overseeing inventory management.
- Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, potential interactions, and side effects.
- Engage in patient-centered services, including immunizations and medication therapy management.
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacist license in New York State.
- Certification in immunization.
- Prior experience in a managerial role within a pharmacy setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
