Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Camden Clark Medical Center. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in the Parkersburg area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls, assessing the situation and providing appropriate care to patients.
  • Determine the extent and nature of injuries, providing efficient care to patients prior to transfer to a healthcare facility.
  • Assist in removing victims from the scene of an accident, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to the hospital, providing ongoing care and support during transit.
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance, ambulance equipment, and supply replenishment to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • EMT certification as required by the WV or OH Department of Health, with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, making quick decisions and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and patients as needed, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
