Part-Time Registered Dietitian Role at ChristianaCare

We are seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to join our team at our hospital in Newark, DE.

This role involves assessing and improving the nutritional status of patients by evaluating their nutritional requirements, developing care plans, providing education, and monitoring patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work across various floors, including med/surg, ICU, stepdown, and may be required to rotate between locations.

This position offers opportunities for career advancement through our clinical ladder program.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration is mandatory
  • Experience as a clinical dietitian in an acute care setting is preferred
  • A Master's degree is required after graduating in 2024, as per Commission on Dietetic Registration regulations
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Maintain Commission on Dietetic Registration requirements and licensure with the State of Delaware and/or Maryland as applicable

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
