Position: Bartender

Role Overview

As a Bartender, you will provide our bar patrons with outstanding customer service, comprehensive product knowledge, and execute our beverage offerings with accuracy and flair.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet every guest warmly and sincerely; anticipate their needs, respond promptly, and ensure a memorable farewell.
  • Embody the Tacombi Service Culture, ensuring that the Tacombi Experience is reflected in every guest interaction.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and professionalism to guarantee guest satisfaction; ensure your work area and attire are always immaculate.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of restaurant policies, Tacombi Brand values, and the food and beverage offerings.
  • Prepare the bar by organizing and stocking stations, ensuring readiness before service according to Tacombi's side work checklist.
  • Adhere to Tacombi's safety protocols, alcoholic beverage service regulations, health department guidelines, and principles of Tacombi Mexican Hospitality.
  • Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by guiding them through the menu; recommend cocktails and highlight Tacombi favorites; answer all inquiries regarding food preparation.
  • Input guest orders to the kitchen accurately; communicate any special dietary requirements and requests to the kitchen staff.
  • Efficiently fulfill all beverage orders from both the bar and dining area, ensuring precision, speed, and presentation in line with Tacombi's glassware mapping and beverage recipe guidelines.
  • Handle payment for drinks served and balance cash receipts accordingly.
  • Keep the kitchen informed of any special dietary needs and requests.
  • Remain attentive to guests' needs throughout their dining experience to ensure high-quality service.
Qualifications:
  • Flexible availability to work during days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bartending role.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for guest service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and handle objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Toast or other point-of-sale systems.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
Compensation:
Pay rate is $10/hour plus tips.
