Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Child Development Specialist to join our team at Seagull Schools Inc.

Overview:

The Infant/Toddler Caregiver is responsible for providing high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers in a safe and nurturing environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist children with daily activities, including feeding, changing diapers, and potty training;
  • Help plan and implement learning tasks and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development;
  • Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and support;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that promotes learning and exploration;
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent;
  • 12 credits of approved early childhood courses;
  • 30 hours of approved infant/toddler training;
  • 12 months of full-time experience working with children under 36 months in a licensed group care setting, or;
  • 24 months of full-time experience working with children under 36 months in a licensed group care setting.
Salary and Benefits:

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
