Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced production associate/assembler to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and assembling a variety of truck bodies and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate production
  • Cut and assemble parts using various saws, sheers, and cutters
  • Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
  • Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently
  • Perform setup and maintenance of machines as required
  • Examine finished projects for quality and defects
  • Conduct safety and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in manufacturing
  • Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Previous experience working on truck bodies (preferred but not required)
  • Construction experience is a plus
Work Environment

This role operates in a manufacturing plant environment. The team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl (may be in confined spaces).
