Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Janitorial Account Manager to join our team at Allied Universal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our janitorial services, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional cleaning and maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of janitorial staff to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess the quality of service and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure that all areas of the property are cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific cleaning and maintenance needs and develop customized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Manage and maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are in good working order and that inventory levels are adequate.
  • Process payroll and other administrative tasks related to the janitorial team.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for janitorial staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, hospitality, facilities management) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the janitorial or facilities management industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
