Amerex Corporation is seeking a skilled Production Assembly Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling fire extinguisher parts on a production line, following blueprints, work instructions, and safety procedures.
Responsibilities- Assemble fire extinguisher parts on a production line, rotating through various stations and following established procedures.
- Meet or exceed departmental production standards and maintain a high level of quality in your work.
- Work a 5-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a shift differential of $0.80 per hour.
- Understand and follow company work and safety rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Complete a 520-hour probationary period.
- Must be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
- Stand, walk, and perform light physical labor for periods of up to three hours without interruption.
- Frequently lift material and product up to 50 pounds and bend, stoop, push, and reach regularly during the shift.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Manual dexterity to precisely assemble parts on a fast-paced production line.
- Ability to comprehend and follow blueprints, work instructions, EHS procedures, and job procedures.
- Pass a post-offer drug test, background check, and physical fitness review.
