Lead Housekeeper

The Lead Housekeeper is a key member of the Environmental Services team at Avera, responsible for providing guidance and coordination to staff in the department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of facilities.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of patients and staff.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the facility.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient care.
- Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of experience in environmental services, with a focus on leadership and supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Lead Housekeeper will work a Monday-to-Friday schedule, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts. The work schedule will be 80 hours every two weeks, with every other on-call shift.
CompensationThe hourly range for this position is $17.50-$21.25 per hour, depending on experience.
