Job Title: Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child & Adolescent Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a vital role in optimizing whole-person health and wellness for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients and provide diagnosis from the Diagnostic Statistical Manual, supported by evaluation findings.
  • Develop and update treatment plans, providing empirically-based treatment in individual, family, and group modalities.
  • Supervise trainees and less experienced staff, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment.
  • Participate in professional and community educational conferences and seminars to maintain professional development.
  • Adhere to HUMC policy and procedures, the Joint Commission, and the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners standards.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree from APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • Completion of APA-approved internship in Adult Clinical and/or Pediatric Psychology.
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatments (i.e. CBT, ACT, DBT, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years related clinical experience serving patients across the mental health and work-related spectrum.
  • Experience providing clinical training and supervision, and a commitment to training the next generation of psychologists.
