Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and process submittals
  • Draft and monitor Requests for Information (RFIs) and assist with change order documentation
  • Organize and maintain meeting agendas and minutes
  • Update and manage construction drawings and provide necessary marketing support
  • Support the Project Manager and Superintendent in managing subcontractor agreements and project timelines
  • Stay informed on construction drawings and as-built documentation
  • Develop and oversee procurement tracking logs in alignment with project schedules
  • Keep track of submittals, RFIs, project modifications, and progress to mitigate potential delays
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical project files as directed by the Project Manager
  • Distribute current copies of drawings and specifications to subcontractors
  • Assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control by ensuring materials match approved submittals
  • Document construction activities and site conditions through written reports and photographs
  • File inspection reports and test results accurately
  • Participate in the project closeout process
  • Enforce safety standards and regulations to ensure a secure work environment for all personnel
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to review job cost reports and ensure accurate budget tracking
  • Understand project scheduling and work with the team to meet construction timelines
  • Assist in creating and managing subcontract agreements and purchase orders
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timely receipt of signed subcontract agreements
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in commercial construction projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A passion for delivering high-quality projects
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
