Job Summary

The Westminster Schools is seeking a highly qualified Nursery Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our early childhood education program, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a comprehensive program that meets the needs of each child.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school.
  • Supervise and support other teachers and volunteers to ensure a well-run and purposeful program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Professionally prepared as a teacher of young children.
  • Ability to interact effectively with a broad constituency while representing the school with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Team player with a positive attitude, proactive approach, and customer-service mindset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to early childhood development and teaching.
