Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Provider to join our team at Liberty Health. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.

About the Role

This full-time position involves assisting nursing personnel on our healthcare unit, providing resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and monitoring performance to ensure quality services. You will be responsible for delegating tasks to non-licensed nursing staff, preparing work schedules, and participating in Quality Assurance data collection and analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively under pressure, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing. A high school diploma and current LPN licensure in North Carolina are mandatory requirements, along with CPR certification and participation in regular in-service training sessions.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing personnel in providing exceptional patient care
  • Delegating tasks to non-licensed nursing staff and monitoring their performance
  • Preparing work schedules and participating in Quality Assurance initiatives
  • Notifying attending physicians of patient changes or emergencies
  • Providing hall coverage as needed and coordinating healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree not required; High school graduate with LPN licensure
  • CPR certification and adherence to facility policies and procedures
  • Ability to make decisions regarding nursing and unit problems
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
