Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Medical Receptionist to join our Reception Care Team at Community Health of Central Washington. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, you will provide excellent customer service while answering multi-line telephones, checking patients in/out, scheduling appointments, registering new patients, insurance verifications, and accepting payments.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Telephone Management: Answer and manage multi-line telephones, responding to calls and messages in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Scheduling and Registration: Schedule appointments, register new patients, and verify insurance information to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Payment Processing: Accept payments and process transactions in a secure and accurate manner.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Prior medical office experience preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
- Certifications/Licenses: Pre-employment drug screen required.
