Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hy-Vee Cook to join our team. As a Hy-Vee Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of foods for the Hy-Chi department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare various foods for the Hy-Chi department, including soups, meats, and vegetables.
  • Be responsible for food in hot and cold cases, ensuring that all food is properly stored and displayed.
  • Prepare the woks and cook soups first, then meats, and finally vegetables and ready sauces.
  • Combine all ingredients with the meat, adding spices as needed.
  • Place food in hot cases, monitor amounts, and refill as necessary to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
