We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons and nursing staff in the perioperative setting by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
- Set up and prepare sterilized instruments, position patients, and assist with gloves and gowns.
- Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgical team as needed.
- Hold retractors and prepare equipment for surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
