Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
Job Responsibilities
The Nursing Care Specialist will be responsible for:
* Providing routine daily nursing care to assigned residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Assisting residents with meals, snacks, and hydration.
* Monitoring residents' vital signs, recording food and liquid intake and output, and reporting changes to professional staff.
* Collecting specimens for laboratory testing.
* Explaining medical instructions to residents and their families.
* Working collaboratively with the medical team to examine and treat residents.
* Administering medications and treatments as directed by a physician or nurse.
* Providing emotional support and companionship to residents.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school graduate or equivalent.
* No prior experience is required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic computer skills and ability to interact with automated resident information collection systems.
