Heavy Equipment Technician Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team at System Services Broadband. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel equipment, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
**Responsibilities Include:**
- Performing regular inspections and maintenance on diesel equipment
- Diagnostics and repairs of various issues affecting our fleet
- Installation, replacement, and repair of ignition, fuel, hydraulic, lighting, electrical, and computer control systems
- Rebuilding and repairing engines, transmissions, differentials, hydraulic cylinders, axle groups, and other critical components
- Keeping accurate records of service, maintenance, and repair activities
- Issuing work orders and purchasing necessary parts
**Required Skills:**
- Diesel mechanics experience with a focus on fleet maintenance
- Strong basic mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
The annual salary range for this position is approximately $65,000-$85,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
