Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable nutritionist to support our patients' neurological health through personalized nutrition plans and dietary counseling. As a nutritionist in our practice, you will play a crucial role in optimizing neurological function and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluations for patients with neurological conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease.
  • Develop customized nutrition plans tailored to each patient's specific neurological condition, medical history, dietary preferences, and lifestyle factors.
  • Provide ongoing dietary counseling and education to patients and their caregivers to support adherence to prescribed nutrition plans.
  • Collaborate closely with neurologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition therapy into comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' progress, making adjustments to nutrition plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in nutritional science and neurology research to continuously improve patient care and treatment strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient consultations, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations and office policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or eligibility for state licensure.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a nutritionist, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
