Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join the Infra Technology Construction Department. The ideal candidate will lead contract development and execution, managing prime contractors and ensuring best practices are used.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to mitigate construction risk and ensure contractual compliance.
- Oversee contract management processes and procedures to ensure timely responses and tracking of critical construction information.
- Ensure proper maintenance of contractually required data, including master copies of drawings and specifications.
- Provide expertise in identifying potential contractual risks and dispute resolution.
- Manage the working relationship with Construction, Design, Procurement, Operations, Legal, and Risk Management to ensure prime contracts align with overall business needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in construction contract management, with semiconductor experience preferred.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of prime contract administration, field procedures, and documents relating to large industrial construction projects.
