About the Role:

The fresh food counter is the heart of our retail operation at Sapphire Solutions. As a Sales Associate - Fresh Food Counter, you will share your passion for meat, sausage, cheese, baked goods, and delicatessen with our customers and advise them with your expert knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will inspire our customers with an attractive product presentation, competent advice, and courteous service.
  • You will show finesse in the refinement and portioning of meat, sausage, cheese, baked goods, and delicatessen.
  • You will ensure excellent product presentation, freshness, and cleanliness with your attention to detail.
  • You will pay precise attention to compliance with food safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Ideally, you will have vocational training or work experience in the food retail industry or (system) gastronomy. Even as a career changer with knowledge of food, you are welcome to join us.
  • You will have enthusiasm for trade and enjoyment of working with people.
  • You will have strong customer orientation and communication skills.
  • You will have team spirit and sense of responsibility.
  • You will have commitment to your tasks, which you approach with a positive attitude.
