Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join their team in Prosper, Texas. This per diem / prn opportunity offers the chance to work with a leading healthcare provider, making a positive impact on the lives of patients and families.

About the Job

This Radiology Technologist role involves working in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality imaging services. With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to patients, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate commitment to service excellence, ensuring customers feel welcomed, understood, and valued.
  • Provide excellent customer service through multi-line phone calls and interactions with patients and families.
  • Process requests for release of protected health information (PHI), adhering to state and federal laws.
  • Maintain the integrity of patients' Radiology Medical Records and the Image Library.
  • Assist in training new employees and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in Hospital Radiology Image Library and Release of Health Information is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including 40-50 wpm typing, is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
