Medical Surgical Travel Nurse Opportunity in Idaho

About the Opportunity:
- We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our travel nurse team in Boise, ID.
- The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and possess the skills and qualifications outlined below.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality bedside care to a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
- Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Perform ongoing assessments and provide education and support to patients' families.
Working Conditions:
- The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- The ability to bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
- The ability to easily lift 20 pounds.
- The ability to move or lift patients, which may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Idaho
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years of recent acute care experience
This is a fast-paced environment where you will be treating patients who may be confused, agitated, and/or uncooperative. The estimated salary for this opportunity is $120,000 per year, based on national averages for travel nurses in Idaho.
