Job Summary

PNC is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Branch Banker. As a key member of our Retail organization, you will be responsible for acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition and Retention
    • Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers and deepen existing relationships through a variety of sales and service activities.
    • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customers' share of wallet and position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Proactive Sales Conversations
    • Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions using a defined sales process, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement.
    • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions and leverage ecosystem partnerships to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Customer Loyalty and Growth
    • Create customer loyalty and grow customers' share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
    • Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
    • Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
  • Risk Management
    • Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
    • Demonstrate a heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically do not require a university/college degree, high school diploma, or GED, but do require related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties.

Typically requires 1+ years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
