Our imaging services are accredited by the American College of Radiology, ensuring the highest standards in technology and patient care.

Position Summary:

The Food Service Worker I is responsible for a variety of essential tasks related to food preparation and service, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts ware washing duties in accordance with established protocols to ensure quality service.
  • Prepares patient meal trays for service periods and distributes food accordingly. Ensures retail areas are ready for all meal services and cleans up post-service.
  • Alerts supervisors when food supplies are low to prevent service interruptions.
  • Prepares food items based on menu specifications and production sheets.
  • Prepares modified diet items as required, ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines.
  • Assembles late trays with attention to proper temperatures and presentation.
  • Keeps assigned work areas clean, organized, and sanitary, completing all cleaning tasks within designated timeframes.
  • Operates kitchen equipment safely and reports any damaged or unsafe equipment to supervisors immediately.
  • Utilizes the menu system effectively.
  • Addresses customer service inquiries promptly and refers complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintains accurate department records, logs, and files as required.
  • Adheres to policies, procedures, and safety standards while striving to meet departmental goals and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: No specific educational requirements; any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience that demonstrates the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role is acceptable. Preference may be given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED.
