Therapy Support Specialist

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you will play a vital role in supporting students with speech and language disorders, contributing to their overall academic success. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized education plans, conducting screenings and assessments, and implementing therapy activities and exercises.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide direct support to students with speech and language disorders.
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students with speech and language disorders.
- Implement therapy activities and exercises designed to improve articulation, language, and social communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program from an accredited institution.
- Valid Arizona Department of Health Services licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists and adapt to various work environments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation to travel between school locations, if indicated.
