The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of the Aveanna Healthcare team, providing skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. With a strong focus on delivering quality patient care, this role requires a dedicated and compassionate individual who can work effectively under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
  • Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary
  • Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
