Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and health needs to residents under the supervision of the Assisted Living Manager
  • Conduct and supervise daily activities according to the activity schedule, encouraging resident participation
  • Assist residents with medication reminders and document times
  • Assist with daily hygiene, including showering and dressing
  • Support residents with mobility and transfers, including one-arm lifts
  • Assist with meal setup and serving, cleaning the dining area, and transferring residents back to their rooms
  • Offer emotional support and actively listen to residents to help them develop trust and independence
  • Comply with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, function independently, and make decisions when necessary
  • Personal integrity and ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, and personnel
  • Ability to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
  • Judgment in prioritizing tasks, duties, and responsibilities according to established standards, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional code of ethics
