Job Title: CDL Driver

BAE Systems is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at our Endicott, NY location.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CDL Driver to support the development, testing, and maintenance of test vehicles in our Power and Propulsion Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and electronic circuits, as well as a valid CDL license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test drive and maintain test vehicles
  • Support the development and testing of hybrid electric, fuel cell, and energy storage systems
  • Work with a team to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with federal and state regulations governing commercial vehicle operation
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL license
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design and electronic circuits
  • Ability to work well with others and take direction
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Detailed knowledge of hybrid drive line systems and components
  • Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations
  • CDL with Manual Endorsement
  • Experience in basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
