Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a contract provider for a charter school network in Longview, WA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, developing individualized education plans, and providing individual and/or group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities
  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide progress reports to parents and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with speech and language disorders in the classroom.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Washington Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Washington Department of Health.
  • Professional Educators' License (PEL), issued by the Washington State Board of Education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Washington Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
  • Professionalism and accountability.
