About the Role

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies
  • Perform and assist with nuclear medicine and PET/CT exams
  • Ensure direct patient safety and follow all procedural protocols
  • Maintain regulatory agency requirements, including Joint Commission and American College of Radiology accreditation
  • Assist in clinical instruction for radiology and nursing students
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • CNMT or ARRT(N) certification
  • Licensed by the State of Maine as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
  • Current DOT HAZMAT training certificate
