Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

Guardian Flight is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and alterations on our aircraft to ensure they are airworthy and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Depot-Level and Field Maintenance: Conduct maintenance and repairs on aircraft airframes, engines, propellers, and appliances in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Document Maintenance Records: Ensure all maintenance records and associated documents are completed, processed, and filed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Modify Aircraft: Perform modifications on aircraft in accordance with company policies and procedures, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Ensure Airworthiness: Ensure all aircraft maintenance is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that all aircraft are airworthy before returning to service.
  • Provide After-Hours Support: Provide after-hours maintenance and on-call support as assigned and directed.
Requirements:
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License: Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience maintaining turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed wing aircraft.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to interpret, apply, and effectively communicate complex technical data and processes associated with aircraft maintenance and alterations.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs and web-based maintenance management programs.
