Recreation Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Recreation Therapist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Recreation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing a continuum of Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation of outcome-based Treatment, Leisure Education, and Recreation Participation interventions for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of patients, including those with Acute Rehab, Chronic Care, Ventilator Dependent, and Gero-Psych conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Utilize your expertise to create engaging and therapeutic recreation programs that promote patient participation and well-being.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure treatment effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements:
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) with one year of experience or internship in a Rehab/Hospital setting.
  • Strong understanding of the MDS and Care Planning process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
